We recommend you check out the commercial blenders as well. Commercial blenders are more durable, built for daily use and abuse. Our favorite and best deal is the Vita-Mix Vita-Prep 2 instead of the Vita-Mix 5200 blender. It will save you nearly $ 100.00 if you take into account that we do not charge sales tax but Vita-Mix does.

For the budget, very budget sensitive smoothie designer we offer the Waring PBB25 Kitchen Classic Blender. It does not have obviously the power to blend avocado seeds, but it is a mediocre blender that will get you a quality smoothie with fresh raw greens and fruits in a fairly good condition. The 2 hp 11.5 amp and 1300 watts Vita-Mix 4500 turbo blender is an excellent blender with plenty smoothie power. We use it all the time and have great experience with it making raw food or fruit smoothies. It is a high speed mixer, much more affordable than Vita-Mix 5200 or the Vita-Prep 1005 blender, as low as $349.

The smoothie fanatics need to have the commercial ICB7 Blendtec 20 AMP smoother, or at least go for the 3 hp Vita-Mix Vita-Prep 3. And if you, as the expert want to stay in the 3 hp range, the best deal you cannot pass up for $ 399, is the HP3A Blendtec, aka Champ, aka Total Blender, in both, 110 volt or 220 volt, shipped locally in the USA, to Canada, Taiwan, and even worldwide.
